Q: Why is the deposit "non-refundable?"
A: Blocking off my schedule guarantees you, the customer, their time slot on the requested date. If you, the customer, cancels your appointment without proper notice, the deposit guarantees that I, the photographer, aren't left with a time slot that could have filled with another customer and no way to fill it. Many businesses do this to prevent loss. Unfortunately, without a deposit we will not be able to book a shoot. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Q: Can I order extra photos?
A: Yes, they're listed at the bottom of the pricing page.

A: If it is out of our control and we can't do anything but reschedule, I will not count it against you. Even if it happens multiple times. We can't control nature so it can't be helped.

A: Rates vary by shoot type, check out my pricing pages for more information.
Q: How will I choose the photos I want for you to edit?
A: As soon as I am able to after the session. I will sort the photos and export them into a low-quality proof photo so you can have a general look at the photos and I can get to work once the photos are chosen.

Q: What is a "proof" photo?
A: A proof photo is an unedited photo that allows the customer to look at the photo but does not allow the ability to have the full quality photo until everything is finished. This protects the integrity of the deal and protects the work the photographer was done. I've known moms that just kept the proofs of school pictures and never paid. Don't be that person...
Q: Do I have to order prints from you?
A: No, but if you do ill make sure they are quality controlled and make it to you with my stamp of approval. However, you are more than welcome to take the digital prints somewhere to have them printed.

Q: Do you archive your images?
A: Yes, I will generally store the photos from the shoot for 12 months, aka, 1 year. So if you were to contact me to purchase prints or copies of the edited photos I can provide those for a reduced fee.
Q: Can I extend the duration of my session on the day of the shoot?
A: Usually no, however, if I do am able to accommodate the time extension I will do so for a small fee.
